Aims and philosophy

The Mornington Peninsula Human Rights Group aims to achieve the following goals:

1. To promote understanding of and respect for human rights and responsibilities in our municipality and beyond through programs of community education;
2. To welcome the participation of people of good will who share our commitment to human rights and responsibilities;
3. To provide information about the work of the Group, and to maintain a data base of people who wish to be kept informed about our activities; and
4. To remain unaligned with any political party or political movement.
